Beliefs

Some of our beliefs:

1. God is the author of all creation and He desires a relationship with us.
2. God reveals Himself in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. The Holy Spirit is God reminding us of our need for Him.
4. Jesus Christ is God showing Himself to us in human flesh.
5. Jesus Christ died on a cross while paying the penalty for our sin.
6. After three days in a tomb, Jesus Christ arose from the dead.
7. Jesus Christ ascended into heaven but will return, one day, to exercise divine justice and to transform creation.
8. Human beings are naturally corrupted by a desire to do things their own way without a concern for God.
9. Only by placing our total confidence in God, through Jesus Christ's sacrifice, can anyone become a Christian and have a personal relationship with God.
10. When people die they enter an eternal destination: heaven or hell. That destination is determined before death, by a person's personal response to Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
11. The Bible is God's perfect guidebook for our lives.
12. Christians and churches are to serve people as Jesus Christ served people.
